About Us
The Kariong Community website was born from the realisation that vital information for the Kariong and surrounding areas was not being made available to the community in an easy accessible format. In particular information and services by "not for profit" organisations which is important for the community.For example, we have spoken to many local people who did not realise that The Hill Youth Centre is offering valuable services to support local youth.

Monte and Margaret Pollard from Web Fundamentals, a Kariong based web design and development company, decided to act upon this realisation and come up with a solution to benefit the whole community. They approached local business's to ascertain if there was an interest in a low cost advertising opportunity that would also cater for the non profit organisations by making pages on a website available to them.This simple solution benefits both the business's that have supported this project and the "not for profit" organisations that could not afford a reliable website of their own.
A website is a continually evolving tool that should grow and change with the changes in the business or organisation. Web Fundamentals look forward to many more business's and "not for profit" groups joining with this project to benefit the community.

This website will be managed in a manner that will encourage positive ideas and discussions, made available from suggestions by community members.Blogs can be posted (from $55.00) for various community items of interest. Readers have the opportunity to provide feed back.
Forums have topics for discussions and ideas where site visitors may express their opinions. Please read the Forum Policy and Agreement here.
It is assumed by participating, members of the community have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of these facilities before taking part in them.
